Now that the brick oven has finally taken shape, it's time to insulate and then to apply a surface bonding cement stucco. To create a floor "tongue," I'll try to pull out four bricks about four and a half inches and fill in the gaps with more fire brick. This is not what I had planned to do, but I've run out of space and I'm left without much choice.
