blogs.guardian.co.uk/food/category/world_food/ Fathia Al-Absi bakes bread in a traditional oven for her family at her home at the Al-Shati refugee camp, Gaza. Photograph: Abid Katib/Getty Images. Pita breads require a very hot oven to expand.
From the photo, it is very difficult to tell what the floor is made out of. Considering that the oven is located in a refugee camp, I suspect the floor is of some recycled material.
What is the floor of that oven? It looks like a metal floor? Or possibly a large piece of marble?
